The environment and relationships we encounter shape us, leaving a lasting impact over time.

 

In my journey with ceramics, I discovered a profound connection to my work, reflecting the essence of who I was at the time. Ceramics, like life itself, revealed their fragility and delicacy, yet they possessed inherent strength. Through the sculpting, shaping, and firing process, I witnessed how each ceramic piece mirrored life decisions—each experience contributing to growth, fulfillment, and resilience. Before transforming into ceramics, our choices allow for flexibility and adjustments, akin to molding a work-in-progress. However, once the piece is fired, a sense of finality settles, prompting acceptance and the readiness to move forward, regardless of the envisioned changes.

 

Amidst the clamor of the world, which often distracts us from our true selves, I have found solace and understanding through the tactile nature of ceramics. I have come to realize that the art I create embodies the most dynamic form of expression within our intricately woven existence.
